The use of tire chains on vehicles is prohibited on all roadways within the Town of Norman Wells except for the following road ways:
Quarry Road, Canol Drive, Raven Road, Junkers ave accessed from Canol drive to the Esso Gas Station located at 2 Junkers Ave.
Every person who contravenes the Tire Chains and Chip Seal By Law is guilty of an offence and is liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars.
The highlighted sections on the maps below are where tire chains are allowed.
