Resident Petition Received

The Town of Norman Wells is committed to citizen engagement and is in support of individuals expressing their democratic rights. We welcome input into Council’s decision-making process.

Input is most effective when it does not defame an individual or business in town.

 A petition was presented as a delegation during the Regular Council Meeting on April 4th, 2023 by Nathan Watson, and Council would like to thank him for bringing his concerns, and the concerns of others to their attention.

Council recognizes that there are issues surrounding some actions of Council and in due time, will publish to the community the reasoning behind said actions, to the best of their ability while mitigating risk to the organization. 

Council would also like to advise residents that there will be an open forum meeting which will provide the opportunity for members of the public to speak and ask any questions they may have. Date, time, and location to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
