Reminder to residents: please apply to the Town for an annual Companion Animal license.
You must apply on or before January 31st, where the Companion Animal attains the age of eight weeks on or before December 31st of the previous year or on or before the last day of the month following the month in which your pet attains the age of eight weeks.
License Fees are as follows:
- each neutered dog $10.00
- each dog that is not neutered $20.00
- where a dog is kept under a Hobby License $5.00
- each cat $10.00
- each dangerous dog $100.00
- hobby License $50.00
- replacement tag $5.00
We are asking all residents to please keep your pets on your own property for the safety and wellbeing of the community.
By Law Enforcement will impound any dog found running at large. The impound fee is $25/day and must be paid in full before the dog will be released to the owner.
If your dog attacks, bites, or severely injures someone you may be subject to criminal charges.
A reminder to pet parents! Symptoms of Hypothermia in Dogs:
- Shivering
- Breathing difficulty
- Lethargic/sleepy
- Dilated pupils
- Skin feels cold to the touch.
- Body temperature dips below 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Gums appear blue
- Difficulty walking
- Weakness
- Quiet heartbeat
- Stupor
- Unconsciousness/coma
