Citizens and community members can get involved and make a difference in our community through membership on one of the three committees appointed by Town Council. Committees provide advice and recommendations to Council on a variety of issues, including , Equity and Inclusion, Lands Development and Youth Committee. Community Members are invited to take the opportunity to serve on a Committee. The Town Planning and Land Use Committee is made up of four members of the community whom are appointed by Council and two members from Council.

The Policy and Procedures Advisory Committee supports Council by ensuring that policies and procedures are in place to guide operations and protect employee health and safety, in alignment with legal, ethical standards and Council’s strategic plan.
The Policy and Procedure Advisory Committee is made up of three members of the community whom are appointed by Council, two members from Council and two administrative staff.

The Transition and Finance Committee is a standing committee of Council designed to provide strategic advice and recommendations to Council regarding the transition planning of the Town of Norman Wells as we transition with the Closure of Imperial Oil.
