- Dumping will still be available 24/7 even when the gates are closed.
- Residents are encouraged to use the blue bins that have been place around town for dumping purposes during the hours in which the landfill is closed.
- a transfer station is set up outside of the landfill which is to be used for dumping household and other approved waste when the landfill is closed.
- the landfill will be manned during opening hours. this means a landfill attendant will assist you with your waste.
- salvaging is still permitted during opening hours at your own risk.
- Council has determined there will be no additional tipping fees.
