Solid Waste Management Facility: Hours of Operation
Dumping will still be available 24/7 even when the gates are closed. A transfer station is set up outside of the landfill which is to be used for dumping household and other approved waste when the landfill is closed.
Residents are encouraged to use the blue bins that have been place around town for dumping purposes during the hours in which the landfill is closed.
The landfill will be manned during opening hours. This means a landfill attendant will assist you with your waste.
Salvaging is still permitted during opening hours at your own risk and expense.
Council has determined there will be no additional tipping fees.
