Pool Update

Over the past few months contractors and staff have been working together diligently through supply chain issues, a tough winter season and other delays to get the pool work completed in time for the start of the season. With assistance from the building condition assessment, and other specialists involved in the project, the pool has seen much needed work and investment to help improve the quality of the facility.

The work completed so far has been critical upgrades needed for the building, after this the quality of the building and the operations will be greatly improved.  Some unforeseen delays have come up in the pool installation aspect of the project. It is paramount this work be done by qualified personnel and these delays were beyond our control. Additional work that was scheduled in the fall, will be completed during this wait time.

We appreciate the community’s patience during this time and understand the frustration that may be caused from this delay. The philosophy has always been to have the job completed right the first time and completed with high standard of quality and thoroughness. We are actively trying in the quickest manner to complete this project, while not compromising that philosophy.

In the meantime as an alternate, Jackfish Park will see enhanced programming in July to help replace the lack of pool services for the month. Please contact us if you have any questions, thank you!
