The Advancement of Equity and Inclusion Committee has started a book club which highlights the work of Indigenous authors.
The book club is one of the committees cultural, racism, and discrimination awareness projects. Other projects the committee has discussed include: potentially setting up a Legacy Space in Norman Wells. The Legacy Space Program is an opportunity for organizations and institutions to provide a safe, welcoming place dedicated to providing education and spreading awareness about Indigenous history and our journey of reconciliation.
