Regular Meetings of Council are the first Tuesday of the month, 7 p.m., Council Chambers. Committee of the Whole (C.O.W.) meets the third Tuesday of the month. Requests to appear before Council as a delegation should be made to the Town Manager no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding a regularly scheduled Council meeting.

Re: Biomass Central Distribution System
In regards to the proposed Biomass Central Distribution System the previous Council had agreed to attempt to secure the funding until year end 2012. The new Council of the Town of Norman Wells has agreed to honour that commitment and will re-evaluate alternatives at that time. A further public update will be issued early in the new year. Council has completed its pilot project at the Norman Wells Solid Waste Facility. As of Wednesday, October 3 (2012), restricted access has been stopped. Residents and businesses will be allowed access 24 hours a day. Thank you for those who participated in this project. The information gathered will now be evaluated and a report given to Council.
